Introduction to DesignBuilder and EnergyPlus

EFEN is EnergyPlus based program for
the analysis of energy performance of prototypical commercial
buildings and parametric
analysis of energy effects of windows and other fenestration
products . The program provides intuitive and extremely
user-friendly GUI and analyses energy and financial
impacts of the selection of fenestration products for
a commercial building.
FENSIZE program is no
longer offered by DesignBuilder Software. This program has been transferred
to NFRC and will be soon provided on their web site for sale, under the NFRC
umbrella. New program, successor to FENSIZE, is being developed by
DesignBuilder Software for NFRC which will have full NFRC rating and
certification functionality. Please check NFRC web site periodically for
program announcements and test version.
